Make a lasting Impression with You Reception Desk

You must have gone to many work places. What is the first thing you notice? The decor of the area; right? We see it so many times, but do we remember it? Here’s an insight to make a great first impression on the visitors.

The first and foremost area we come in contact at any organization is with the reception desk. It is one of the main places where you can make a person feel more receptive towards your company. The counter/desk should be easy on the eye for the visitors as well as functional for the person sitting behind it. One should take into consideration the aspect of durability/strength of it. Other things that should be considered are the material used, the size and shape of the desk. A good reception desk should be versatile with lockable drawers and enough space to hold the desktop, necessary stationary items, files etc.

Office desk

The next important thing to be taken into account while setting up an office desk is the privacy factor of the person sitting behind it. It should be in proportion to the build of the receptionist and should have adequate space to move around. The Disabilities act should be respected by having a part of the reception desk lower to the ground to make it easier for wheelchair users.

An office desk is an important part in deciding the look of any office. It can impress the visitors and they will have a positive outlook towards your company.
